Default 02 GT riding rough

I have lowered the car 2" all around, and added Weight Jacker lower control arms. I still have the stock shocks in and it rides like a brick in a wagon. Can you suggest a set of shocks that can be adjusted to go from a not so rough ride on the street to something that will do well at the strip. I plan on adding 18" rims with a 35 series tire that will give it less sidewall to ride on, so any suggestions to smooth out the ride is appreciated. Thanks!
One more thing. I'm also thinking of going to a coilover setup in the front for height adjustment. This car is mostly street driven with the occasional trip to the strip if that makes any difference. Thanks again!

Sorry for the delayed response...

I would suggest the Tokico HP shocks & struts for your Mustang. Here is a link Total Tokico Front & Rear Strut/Shock Package - For 94-04 Mustangs - StangSuspension.com

They have nice valving, they are cost effective, and are not too firm... so they'll still allow for good launching & weight transfer at the drag strip.

If you're planning on using a coil-over kit... you'll need 3 things to get the job done.

1. Front coil-over kit w/ springs
2. 4 bolt caster/camber plates
3. Tokico struts (which I'm suggesting above)

Sincerely,
