Default Lowering springs

Sometime in the next 6 months, I'm considering lowering my new Mustang. Only about an inch or so. Lowering - of course - improves handeling. Unfortunatly, it can also worsen the ride. In some instances, I think the ride is too harsh now. This is my daily driver and long distance cruiser. I have another car for the track.

- stock like ride.
- no alignment difficulties.
- no increased bump steer.
- change springs only.

So, the question is which ones to choose?

I have the Steeda Ultralights (1.25" rear and 1" front). Was really impressed with the ride quality.

The most important thing to replace when swapping out your springs is the shocks & struts.

The shocks & struts will help dampen the new higher spring rate, and make the ride the most comfortable. The Tokico HP shocks & struts are the most popular for an OEM replacement.

If you do not want to change the shocks & struts, then I'd stick with a softer spring rating. Maybe the Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

Sincerely,
