Default V6 Suspension Questions [=

Hey guys of StangSuspenion;

I'm enrolled in the Suspension & Steering class here at our community college, and I was thinking of upgrading my 2001 V6 Pony's suspension before this semester ends (Dec. 12).

For starters, I would like to upgrade the bushings to polyurethane and also to the Bullitt Handling Kit. Here are my questions:

A. Would I need c/c plates still? Because it is not so much a drop when the springs of the Bullitt Handling Kit (.75" drop) is installed.

B. I'm going to swap rear ends from 7.5" to 8.8" in the future, will the Prothane Total Bushing Kit Part#: 6-2025 be affected?

I know I have more questions to ask, but I can't think of them right now. So as we go along, I'm sure I'll be able to do so.

Thanks guys, hope to hear from you soon.

You don't need camber / caster plates with the Bullitt suspension kit

You'll be able to use the same bushings with the new rear end.

I second the answer above!

Keep in mind, the Bullitt Mustang did not have any special alignment plates from the factory... it used the same strut mounting as the GT and V6. So you are good to go!
