Wink Need help finding out the right caster camber plates.....

Hello Everyone....

So I finally did it....I purchased some Tokico HP adjustable shocks and struts along with some Eibach Pro Lowering Springs for my 95 GT Convertible. However I am running into a problem. This car is mainly use for daily driving and won't be taking it to the track soon. (maybe in the future but not right now). I wanted to give it that aggressive look but I want to make sure I have the smoothest ride possible. I am riding on 18" saleen rims with 18X9 in front and 18X10 in the rear. I keep hearing that I may need to get some Caster Camber Plates if I want to align the car (which I want to do) but I don't know which ones to get. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on this. Something that will do the job at a reasonable price. I have been looking at some on ebay but I am still confused as to which ones I should get. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Ohh yeah, one last thing....Would I need to replace any bushings for the springs or shocks? Thanks again.

Sincerely,

A Huge Mustang Fan!

I have UPR caster camber plates and they get the job done as i think any of them would. They only cost be just a little over 10 bucks, but i got a discount from my source. They are still no very expensive though.

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and finally installed the shocks and struts and WOW, what a difference. I recommend this on ALL mustangs, just like changing out the K&N Filter, pullies and gears. My car responds better and I am able to get more traction out of my mustang. For a minute there, I thought I had more horsepower but its just that I was able to hook alot better. The car looks amazing too. Much sportier looking. The only downside is that if I ever want to adjust the rear shocks I have to use the jack to do so and the front still has a small gap but these are just small things that I can get very anal about. The KYB shocks are amazing and the eibach springs are doing the job. I thought I would be feeling every bump on the road because of the low profile tires, 18" rims, and lowered springs but to my surprise the ride is very comfortable. Again, much better than what I had before, more responsive and much more fun to drive with. Thanks for all of the help.

The most popular plates we sell, by far, are the Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates.

MM Caster Camber Plates - For 94-04 Mustangs - StangSuspension.com

They are a four bolt design. They also have a lifetime warranty on the bearing cup... which is very important. We do offer forum discounts on these as well, just PM us for details!

The bearing cup is the most expensive single component of the entire cc plate, and is usually where most manufacturers skimp when it comes to keeping the costs done. Be careful with what you purchase out there! These bearing cups take alot of abuse in the orientation that they are used on a Mustang, its important to get good quality.
