Default 2007 Mustang, rear axle exchange options

I have the V6 Pony Pack and I'm wondering what options are there for replacing the rear axle to a posi trac? I live on the bottom side of a hill and it don't take much snow or ice to keep my pony from going up the hill. I grew up in northern wisconsin and drove mostly older 60's car with posi tracs and you could go snow that some trucks wont go through. With this mustang it doesn't help that the back end is also very light. I think if I had posi with snow tires it would make a big difference.

You partially answered your own question when you said the rar end is so lite. Mustangs are not exactly a winter car and although a posi would help as well as the snow tires I would try to find me a caeap hooptie for the winter and put my mustang up for the winter.

These are a very popular choice for V6 owners...
