If anyone on here has been on any social networks, myspace, facebook, etc theres instant message boxes....... Could it be possible for AFM to add this to the site. I think it would be a huge help to keep members in touch if they dont have the time to wait around for a pm or a post.

Davis, there is a chat room that MIGHT be beneficial that u could go into but ya IM's or different chat rooms for the typical subjects 4.6 talk/tech or 5.0 talk/tech etc wouldnt be a bad idea or even specific forums to body styles *fox's* *SN95* etc etc i agree tho not a bad idea

Hi Kyle, fantastic idea and the site owner is currently working on AFM social networking. Love to have any suggestion from you guys . We do have members using StumbleUpon, Digg, Technorati, Mixx, XMarks and AFM has accounts on Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon and MySpace. The way most of these networks are designed, leaves it entirely up to individuals across the web to bookmark, comment, thumbs up/thumbs down or digg the sites and content that you like. I know we would dearly love to see more of our members promoting AFM on all of these social networks and would certainly appreciate all of your support . We need it! The whole social networking stuff is an area where we are lagging behind but as I mentioned, we are working on getting up to speed. So far we have:
I think the idea here is that members can use these accounts to find and keep track of each other. Is this what you are referring to when you say AFM social networking?

"Add to my Facebook Page" "or "add content to my facebook page"... so you can immediately and automatically have that AFM content on your facebook page?

Yeah i was kind of thinking along those lines, but maybe a little chat box that people would be available for instant message. Maybe sorted by model and make of cars...? For example I see another user is on who owns a 99 cobra and i have instant availability to ask them questions or just chat about how 99 is the best year cobra made lol .... i know i know took it a little too far there, but you get the jist right?

Well, that is an idea... I never thought of that.... a true Instant Message if you will.... Very interesting!! Real time chat individually... really interesting!
Now I am not sure if our software handles that, Cathy would be able to let you know.... but you might be aware that as illustrated below (sorry for the kindergarten level drawing) if you see an icon under that persons name, in that area - they are a member if certain IM and PM services.... I am only on Yahoo - so I have the "Y" logo...
Also - you know... if you click on a persons profile you and send them a PM that they immediately receive....
Let's see what Cathy has to say about the individual chat buttons...
