Default Easy & Fun chatbox!

I think it would be awesome to have a chatbox on the homepage or somewhere necessary so us fellow mustang owners can just well... chat! It's also good for quick questions and site management, that way every little question doesn't get turned into a thread taking up useless space!

I attached a picture of the chatbox from my gaming community, it's a nice feature.

We do have a Chat Room at the top of the screen but it is seldom used. I have never used a chat box, would the chat box be something much different?

It would be in the same format as the chat room, but as soon as you log on to your profile you can use it. I doubt a lot of members actually know this site has a chat room, so the chat box would be best on the homepage. Just log in, and wait 1-2 seconds for the chatbox to be loaded, then you can go to town. There is even an option to allow registered-only members to be able to see the application so you don't have annoying spammers.

Ooooo I think that would probably take up advertising area... but what about a chat tab?? Like we have for the regional forums... and when you click the tab you can automatically start chatting? I like the tabbed browsing going on!!
