Not sure if this has already been addressed but why doesnt AFM have occasional meetings, or gatherings in different places around the country...like not necessarily run by AFM staff but maybe members in certain areas can set stuff up to get all the forum members together?

It's a hit or miss thing when trying to get a gathering. Keep posting about it, there's lots of Virginia/NC/Maryland members who might be able to show for something local.

the main thing is - you need a leader - someone to take charge! pick a date and location and we'll pin it in the lounge so other members see it!

We had one this summer in Lyndhurst, NJ - a nice time too!

Start by making a basic ballpark date, then people who might have time (or can start scheduling time) will jump in.

When the date gets a little more finalized i am going to try and get some AFM guys and gals down to my local clubs annual car show at Downs Ford in Tom's River NJ this spring.

Since i am in NJ i can only organize stuff around here but look around for a local group and get some AFM members to some meets so they can hang out. Its great putting faces to the names. I now know what Judi looks like. And she realized how truely tall i am
