I am out of town on business for the next couple of weeks but will look into this more when I return home and once again have access to my home pc.
With regard to the [img] tag, please read the following thread for reasons why we do not permit imaging to directly appear within thread messages:

Hope that helps explain why we have this as part of current site policy. If there is a better way to do this I would love to hear it. Thanks again for the feedback and I will followup on this when I get home.
