Approx ho numbers with a Vortech V3

I have a Vortech V3 with Anderson power pipe, lightning 90mm maf and 42# injectors that I will be installing on my 2002 Mustang GT with Stock heads and cams, cat delete xpipe with stock manifolds and flow masters. Should I be able to get to 400hp?

The cat delete nor the FM will gain no hp/tq…………..Here's a link to a "Real Test" that verifies....on a 700+ hpengine......no gain or loss of with or without the cats!

You are probably looking at around 100 hp increase at the rear wheels.

says page no longer there. I'm pretty much in the same boat and im hoping for 400 rwhp.

Only mods that I plan on adding are short headers (bbk ceramic) (can't do long tubes because I have a tight driveway).

225 to 400 = 175 which is right about what it should be.

Also I think stock is 3.6" pulley I was thinking about 3.48" pulley, with a power pipe it should be right at 10psi?

I thought the usual rule of thumb was centrifugal chargers add about 40% more power? I suppose it all depends on how much boost you can throw with it, and whether you have an intercooler that can get the charge temp down! If it was rated at 225, 40% would put you at 315. But I freely admit, I am no expert when it comes to the mod motors. I'm a lot more familiar with the old Windsors. If you hit 400, I would sure be impressed!

I smile a lot. It makes people wonder what I'm up to...
