I use it in my track car; at 6,500 rpms with 140* track temps you need all the protection you can get.
But I don't use it in any of my street vehicles. They just don't get abused like that, and I don't see the need to spend the additional $3 a qt.
BTW, Redline is just as good, it's true synthetic. M1, OTOH, is uses a dino oil base stock and is not a true synthetic. It's not as good and isn't worth the price.
I would use Redline in my track car if it was available locally. But I won't use M1.
