I'd say they see the Cobra badging and getting Viper from that as well. I have never received that compliment yet.

yeah, mee too girl!!! ive never been mistaken for a viper, but most people take a double-take when they see that me (the blondie) is driving the cobra and my boyfriend is driving the neon! hahahah they ask, is that your boyfriends car...or is that a GT or something... and im like, uh no its a cobra.. and ive installed everything on it myself dude! hahahah eat it.

Only got the Viper comment once. Matter of fact it was the day after i got my vanity plate GOTVENOM. i guess it could have threw her off... Or maybe it was the 315's out back. LOL. But more often than not i get asked if it's a "real" cobra. Not to stereotype but it's mostly kids and girls.

This has never happened to me and i've owned two cobras.. Now when i had my C6 Vette, i was asked if that car was a viper.
