Never been mistaken for a Viper but I had some kid at the beach ask me if my car was "a real cobra" because the 99's say mustang on the back. So I said of course it's a real cobra, and then I tied a cement block to his foot and dropped him in the ocean....yup that's what I did.....

No no one has ever asked if my car is a Viper, but I've had many people tell me they have never heard of a Cobra before

If people ask me what kind of car it is (as if the windshield saying COBRA wasn't a dead giveaway

) I usually tell them it's a Cobra, and then most reply with I've never heard of that before. Some I have to explain to them that it's a limited production faster version of a Ford Mustang, others I don't even bother.

Youll find idiots like them anywhere, most are either people without cars who just read about cars. Or the import enthusiasts. I have idiots thinking my 6 cyl is a Cobra just becuase i have Cobra R Rims. People are just stupid..

People are so dumb.I had these girls ask me your car is a Saleen.I was like no its a Cobra.They said no its not its a Saleen.I said no damn it I should know what the hell I drive its call a Cobra Mustang.They said we never heard of that it should be a Saleen.Morons.

Well for one it's girls!!! But that is just stupid. When I just bought my GT, I was at a parking lot and a guy (driving an import) asked me what all I was going to do to that thing...So I tell him....and then he asks if I'm going to put a big wing on it to help it run faster.. I was like WTF?

I got one even better. i was driving threw a nieghborhood slow and past a group of kids and i heard one yell "DUDE A FERRARI !!" I laughed for 10 min. i could make see gettin viper mixed because of the snake but a ferrari! comon

nah my car has never been mistaked for a viper. most people thinks it s a 6-cyclinder because girls can't drive cobras....
