One other bit of advice. On my 2000 Gt I had flowmasters that sounded great with the stock midpipe.

But I tried putting on an O/R H-pipe and it sounded like dogsh!te. I had to pull it off after a week. I couldnt take it. Not only was it ungodly loud, but it sounded like I was running open pipes. It was not good!

I know its too late but in my opinion SLP loudmouths sound incredible on the DOHC's. I had them on my Mach 1 and I can't begin to tell you how many times I was stopped and asked WTF is in that car? Even some the the local COPS would pull me over to check it out!

First off I would like to say welcome, to the best Mustang comunity on the internet! We are very glad to have you here!

Now down to the puddin, I personally would go with the American Racing Headers Exhaust if you are lookin for a complete kit. I would have recomended Kooks before but these guys are really taking the trophy in performance.

I have been working with them for a while now and I have to say they sure impressed the crap out of me! We are working together on the Team Hijak FR500C and the Team Falken Formula-1 Drift Mustang and the gains were far more than even Kooks.

Just to put it in perspective, all the top companies had to supply FORD Racing with a custom set of headers in order to try and get the contract to have there headers featured on every one of the FR500 Cobra Jet Limited edition cars. I dont know all of the names involved but the Big Boy Companies were Kooks, Bassani, JBA and American Racing Headers. After about a week strait of testing and re-testing their headers and X-pipe came out on top!

The actual #'s I cannot release due to a NDA we have but I can tell you it was a pretty good amount.
