Default 1993 Cobra Pricing

I asked my dad to day what he thought his Cobra was worth and he said he didnt know so i dicided i would ask around.

He has a
1993 SVT Cobra (Teal)
Gray Cloth Interior
All the other options but sun roof
Still has everything orginal on it (in cluding orignal brakes, clutch, airfilter)
Has 123k Miles
Any clue what its worth since its all orginal from the factory and numbers matching?

Its hard to say depending on what it needs done, what kind of shape the body is in, how much tread life left, etc. There are tons of factors. The best way to tell IMO is look at similar cars in your area and see what their going for and that would give you an idea. To ballpark it I would say 3500-6500? Maybe? Hell its hard to say

Like I said man its hard to tell could be in $10,000 area. I threw a figure out there because I was thinking it needed new brakes, clutch, and tires(thinking they were factory tires)seeing as they have 123 K miles on it. But in absolute excellent condition I would say a little over 10 grand. Have any pics of it?

KBB.com says $5745 for it in excellent condition(which almost all cars arent) and it said $5240 for good condition, thats private party value. So my guess is best case that car is worth $5400-$5500 close to my original guess.

A first year cobra like that could fetch a hefty sum but it has a lot of miles on it unfortunately. You'd probably be lucky to get $7500 if it was in otherwise garage kept pristine condition.

I would pay no more then about $7000. But those cars just like any other go up in value as the time go's by and the less there are! I'd keep it and just sit on it. It will go up in value in good time.

123K is a lot of miles for that car. You can find one with half those miles for around 6-7 K

I paid 8 K for mine. It had 136 K miles body. Engine had been rebuilt at 118 K. Car was repainted with a nice base clear coat paint job.

If its in good shape, one owner car you could pull a decent amount. Put it on ebay, ive seen cars in worse shape then mine sell for more.

You d probably be smart just to hang on to it as that is a pretty rare combo you have.

My dad paid $12,000 for his back in 1997 (bone stock.) Now you can sell it easily for over $10,000. KBB is dumb, my dads car has 25,000 miles on it and in pristine condition and its "worth" around $6,000. KBB says my 2004 mystichrome cobra is worth $17,000 with 40,000 miles. But you could easily sell the car to a person who knows the true value of the car. Go on ebay and find out how much '93 cobras are running for. Ive seen some go over $20,000 with mild mods, so let alone a bone stock one! Dont forget, they are the most sought after mustang afterall!

25,000mi is a lot less them 123,000.mi. So I would never think that car would go for $10,000 or more even if you were to sell it to a privet buyer now. But maybe later down the years. The 1993 cobra "R" was one of the most sought mustangs. I'd seen one on e-bay sell for $90,000
