Default 1995 5.0L cobra motor max HP?

How's it going everyone!

So I've been trying to see what kind of engine internals are in a 1995 svt motor but nothings poped up. I've heard they could be s/c or turbo being stock from ford is this true? What do you think is the max HP on a svt 5.0L before this block blows? I'm debating if I should just build this block up or start from scratch.

I'm open to all input!

Thanks!!

About 500hp, beyond that your risking cracking the block. Even 500 is pushing it.

I'm looking for some power. Different heads cam. and intake. I'm thinking it should get me in the 300's. But if I turbo or s/c it I thinks i'm pushing it!?

I agree, keep the boost to safe levels and you can supercharge or go the turbo route.

i have seen mostly stock 5.0 cobra supercharged dyno 420whp with a very very good tune.so you dont want to exceed that.few boltons @8-9psi should get you 350-370whp which is great and SAFE
