Anyone out their ever buy an extended warranty through another company other than Ford for their vehicle. If so were you pleased with it and did you have any mods that would of hindered your policy. They do not ask you for modifications you may have done to your car. If you have mods such as pulley and tune did you get it anyway? What was the outcome if you had a repair done? Thanks.

Im sure if ya have mods like that done they will tell ya that ya have voided the warranty. If your gonna leave your car stock, then an extended warranty might be alright, but if your modded or want to mod it then i wouldnt bother.

Appericate your input. Either don't get it or use it for everything but motor work. What do you think. Is it worth 1,800 dollars for that, which last 5 years or 60,000 miles. I have 4,700 miles on car now. Covers stereo, steering, cooling and heating, tranny, rear end and driveline line. All electrical including alt. and started, window motors and swithches, vert. motor. Calipers, ABS and, suspension. Would it still be worth it and could I get away with it as long as I have motor work, if I ever have to, myself. Thanks.

Well i bet if ya do get it nothing will go wrong but if ya dont, then something will go wrong haha, thats how it goes man. Its hard to say, if it was me, i wouldnt get it, read in consumer reports that over 50% of people who bought extended warranties didnt even need them and said it was kinda a waste or soemthing liek that, but what if something weret o happen? So i guess its kind of a gamble.
