Svt Or Cobra Same?

DUMB QUESTION GUYS AND GALS, SO DON'T LAUGH
IS A SVT THE SAME AS A COBRA?
ARE ALL SVT SUPERCHARGED?
WAS THINKING ABOUT BUYING 1 AND JUST WONDERED AND I KNOW THAT THIS FORUM WOULD KNOW FOR SURE.
ALSO IS THEIR A BETTER YEAR TO BUY?

All SVT's are cobras or F-150 Lightning trucks. But to answer your question yes they are all the same. SVT=COBRA. IN 2003-2004 is when the SVT Cobras started recieving eaton turbochargers. Good luck finding your cobra!!!!

The 03-04 Cobra's aka Terminators came with a Eaton Supercharger(not turbo) SVT=Special Vehicle Team and yes they do make the Cobra's and Lightnings. Let's not forget they developed the SVT Focus too

^And SVT contour. The SVT department is also involved with the Ford GT and GT500. SVT took the place of the SVO badge(Special Vehicle Operations). And no not all SVT's are supercharged, nor does SVT= Cobra

Saleen has a 2v engine and 3 stages of the Saleen. S281 which is N/a and rated at 290hp, S281SC 375hp, S281E 425hp. (Speaking about the New Edges) Yup, the Ford GT and GT500 were taken part from SVT too. Lol forgot about the Contour.

Ford SVT Cobra year 2003 or 2004 is what you want. Their were many svt cobras made through the years but 2003 and 2004 were the only years with supercharged engines. That is what you want. lol. Again, Ford Mustang SVT Cobra. 2003 or 2004 Let us know what you end up getting. If you can't find one or you don't want to pay that much for one I know where a 2003 Mach 1 is with under 3,000 miles for under 20,000. Sonic blue is the color of it. I believe thats the color its called. And that is an excellent buy.

Gotta agree with redsnake if your gonna get a cobra get a 2003 or 2004 if you really must settle you can get a 2001-2002. Just dont get a 1999 because those were crap and were overated hence why Ford made the Cobra R.

In 2002 there wasnt technically a cobra made. There were 100 made but they were all made for australia, RHD etc. The first actual cobra's that were supercharged were in the 60's powered by a paxton supercharger.

I agree with BigBoomer18 I love my 99. Would like to have had an 03-04. But after having it for a couple of years and doing the mods to it. I don't think I could give it up for an 03-04 now.
