which of these cars would u all say is the best deal and most enjoyable to have ? red 2004 mustang gt for $14,960 with 36k miles. A blue 2004 mach1 mustang for $16,890 with 50K miles, or a red 2001 svt cobra for $16,990 with 38k miles?
Thats not a bad price for the GT, but for only 2k more you could ahve the Cobra with close to the same miles. If i was looking at a used V8 mustang i wouldnt look into anything over 40k miles so that would eliminate the mach, just seems like to much, and there is another thread abot this guy talking about getting a mach 1 with only 15k miles for 12,900. Id go for the Cobra.

I'd say, out of those three I would try to get the Mach 1 for a little cheaper if possible. Though I recommend you keep looking, maybe save a little more and buy what you really want. lol

Mach 1 newer, stronger rear (sra opposed to irs), same engine as a 01 cobra.
But a higher mile 03/04 cobra can be had around $20,000. which might be a better option since they are the easiest to modify. You could easily have $4000 into a GT,mach1, 99-01 cobra and still not come close to a 03/04 in performance.
How about a 04 Torch Red GT convertible with 12,000 miles. Has factory chrome wheels, leather, 5spd, light bar, and the car is perfect. It's more expensive then the ones you have mentioned, but it has the book to back it. It's my brothers, and he's asking $18,500. If you would happen to be interested you can e-mail at dale.goins@kroger.com.
I love my Mach 1, all around a perfect car for stock production. But, if you want more HP then you need to do some engine work for FI and nitrous. But how can you beat the shaker hood. I love that thing, main reason I got mine. Plus they are FAST and with the Navigator cams they have all kinds of low end torque. Great Car.

I just went thru this -- there are great deals out there if you take your time. I'd get the lowest miles 03'/04' SVT Cobra you can afford and drive it like you stole it.
Mach 1, it has the 99/01 cobra motor, the 03/04 cobra heads, solid axle, rarity, cool hood scoop, and with cams and headers they are supposed to make tons of power.
