Nasty trunk channel.

Does anyone have a good idea on cleaning the trunk channel on mustangs. My cobra is white but the channel is black. I used some dawn dish detergent and a brush. it helped but still have some black and now some grey. Any body got any good fixes? Thanks

That sealant they use at the joints is meant to be there - and it CAN be painted, but it eventually wears off.

I use touchup paint and an artist's brush.
