Default cobra radiator?????????????

on my gt/ cobra swap. im still concerend about what radiator i should use. is the gt radiator the same as a 2003 cobra. b/c i found a cobra one on ebay for 100 bucks used. or should i buy an aftermarket one?

There is a seperate listing for the 03 Cobra radiator, but that's intended for the blown motor that came in the car in 2003, of course.

Assuming you have a stock GT radiator in the car already, and are installing a N/A (not blown) Cobra engine, I would try the stock radiator and see (repair parts lists for the cars show the stock radiator will match a n/a cobra engine).

I'd be mentally prepared to watch for overheating, though, and make whatever changes are needed. There's a cross-over pipe involved.

03/04 Cobra radiator is not only larger than the GT radiator but the Cobra is of all aluminum construction where the GT's have plastic side tanks, so the Cobra rad for $100.00 is a great/cheap mod, if it's a "real" Cobra radiator...if your not sure, post pics or any stamping #'s off it and I should be able to tell.....
