Hey All!

I thought I'd post this here since you Cobra guys might have some ideas...

I have a 96GT that is about to go in for a full paint job. I'm not trying to pose as a Cobra at all but I do love the snorkel Cobra hoods that were on the 97-98 models. I can't find any aftermarket outfits that sell repros of those at all. Does anyone know of a source? Would Ford still sell them and if so how much? Aside from my side-exit exhaust, the rest of the car is stock and is staying with the Laser Red clear coat. I'm just in love with that Cobra hood and have always wanted one.

If anyone has any thoughts let me know...

try ebay. I got mine from a junkyard and had it repainted.

Well that was a no-brainer! I should think before I type sometimes.

I didn't even think about Ebay. I just looked and there are three hoods that are all around $250 shipped. One doesn't come with the vent inserts but I think I've seen those listed before somewhere.

Thanks for the help... if no aftermarket companies make the standard Cobra hood then I'll be looking into Ebay.
