How can I fix the wheel hop on a, for the most part, stock cobra?..and how much will it probably run me?

i had that package plus shocks and springs...it helped a bit but still hopped....ebay the irs set up then put a solid axle , one of the best things i did to my 03

If your car is going to be a drag car then try and find a GT and swap for their solid axle. Most guys in my area go out and do that fix their wheel hop and it's true, it does suck when it comes to drag racing.

sounds good..for now, i just wanna start small. I know Steeda's prices are a little steep and I haven't been able to find a set like that anywhere else. Does anyone know of a set or where I can find one for cheaper?

Try maximum motorsports, they might be cheaper.
