i tore my rear cover open two years back puttin down 489hp, 502tq. wheel hope got the best of me. i started swapping bushings, using MM of course, the control arm bushings were what stopped the wheel hop, bit of a project replacing but really eliminated the hop. since then i've added level 5 axles, girdle cover, aluminum diff bushings front and rear, subframe bushings, tie rods with bump steer set up and 3.90 gears with an eaton posi. the control arm and subframe bushings are delron. i'm now putting down over 860hp 900tq and can pull the front end off the ground no problem with a set of slicks. i live by my irs. hope some of this helps

IRS FTW... the ride quality is far better than the SRA, and it's a superior suspension for all racers except for strip only cars. The Grip Box actually costs more for the SRA than it does for the IRS! It's a great suspension that SVT designed, but the NVH engineers @ Ford insisted on putting soft rubber bushings, soft shocks, and soft springs. Change the halfshafts, bushings, shocks, and springs and you have a solid reliable suspension that handles like a dream! Every TRUE sports car has one! I've seen supercharged Cobras that hop off the line and still have the IRS. P.S. I have owned both the SRA and IRS so I speak from experience...imo the solid was like running around with your shoelaces tied.
