Default GT500 on order. Having second thoughts...

Hello Guys.

I've ordered a Shelby GT500 from my Ford dealer and will get it in February. But I'm having second thoughts about it as I've heard a few nightmares about the clutch. I've seen one GT500 for sale here (Dubai) with only 2000km and it's been through 3 owners already. Apparently, they couldn't cope with it while sitting in traffic. I've read some mixed reviews about it, and can't make up my mind. There's a fair bit of congestion here, very similar to LA.
So guys, I need to know from the horse's mouth: Is it really that tough? I love the car, ( my current is a Mustang GT/CS Auto,) but do I really need to start going to the gym before I get in it?

And yes, I'm used to manual cars, the only reason mine's an automatic is because that was all that was available.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanx

Between you GT and the GT500, you'll like the nice addition of performance, looks and sound. If your having second thoughts on the GT500, then get the KR lol

GT500 would be sweet and the KR would be even sweeter. A bad clutch, heck, i would still buy it and then upgrade it. Maybe it was to stiff of a clutch or not enough leg strength to deal with it in traffic. i've had 5 or 6 speeds and been in trafffic and i'm still happy to have a manual vehicle. GT500....buy it! LOL. Good luck with!

Once you buy GT 500 you will not want to drive GT any more, it will feel like there no power. A awesome car no clutch issues here 08 4000 mile and drive it like I stole it every time I get in it!!!
