Default 03 cobra little help with p0113

just picked up an 03 cobra with a 2.8 pulley, and a catback.ive got a c.e light on for p0113 ,intake air temp high.anyone else have this code.i will be getting car tuned shortly after i do a few more mods.a friend/ford tech said it may be due to excessive temp from the smaller blower pulley.he suggested an aftermarket heat exchanger and a tune.any help out there..

What does the temp gauge read? Is it in the middle for the most part? Do you have MIL's installed or a program/chip. If its running cool (via gauge), you may have a sensor that has gone bad giving you the c/e light. Regardless, you are doing right by getting a tune.

The Eaton or Heaton some call it, does produce heat but with a 2.8 pulley, i wouldn't think it would be producing that much heat to throw a code. Sounds like a sensor is bad to me. The HE on the Cobra are really efficient. Might be different if you where pusing some serious boost and needed to upgrade. Make sure your HE is working properly though and the coolant for that is good/full. Good luck with it and let us know how it goes.
