Wow. My bad on the 94-99 thing. lmao I meant 96-99 I am just used to the 94-98 body so I automatically type it sometimes. No the 94-95 Cobra's had the iron block 5.0.

How could you street drive an 800hp car? There would be no way. The 4.6L 4v is a nice engine but it is not a streetable engine at 800hp. I have driven 600hp cars on the street and it is scary. I do not see any way that you could street drive an 800hp car unless it had a huge turbo on it for high rpm pulls. The cams needed to help that thing breathe would make for a very rough running car at idle I would think.

what? guys run stock cams on 1000rwhp cars nowadays man! twin screws and turbo's have come a long way!!!

whats so scary? I drive my car on the street..put down 605/625. drives like stock until you hit the loud pedal. it is after all a stock motor with bolt ons.

What guys run 1000rwhp on the street? Unless you have a huge turbo that doesn't spool up until 4000+rpms then I don't imagine too many people running 1000rwhp on the street. Or are you not talking about on the street?

That kind of power is not a streetable power in everyday traffic. I don't think I know anyone who would say that they want 605rwhp in everyday driving in town.

Good for it being a stock motor with bolt-ons, those are good numbers if all you have are bolt-ons, unless you are counting a charger swap or port a bolt-on. Do you see too many Z06's with bolt-ons or h/c/i kits at 600rwhp being driven daily? No... I have talked to a lot of Z06 guys and they say that even with bolt-ons only, no cam or intake or heads that they think the car has to much power for the street.

well Ill say most of the guys that say "I made 1000rwhp" are NOT drag racers...the cars are setup for the street. why is it not streetable power?? you dont see 1000hp until your at WOT...you can still drive around normally on that kind of power.

I mean if you cant handle over 600hp on the street....then get rid of it because you just built a "race car" in your mind. anyone can do that and is a waste imo. guys make 1000hp with STOCK CAMS...so why is it unstreetable???

my car has exhaust, intake, tb, upped the boost on the stock blower and a little n2o shot. minus the n2o was all bolt on crap...minor things. its a blast to drive on the street and cant wait till I have more! if people want a garage/dyno queen...so be it...Im driving my cars.

Yeah, the same people that designed the 96-99 Cobra engines are designing the new Abrams tank. They are reported to have a 200hp 4 cylinder.
