Hey Cobra owners I have a question for you and I want somewhat serious answers. The reason why I say '01 Cobra and not '03-'04 cobra is because I know anyday anywhere an '03 cobra would walk a G37 no prob. But my question is who would you say would win this race the new G37 or a 2001 SVT Cobra because the G37 has 330HP and the '01 Cobra has 320HP and the cobra has way way more torque than the G37. So who would you say would win...Lets say that you would be betting your mustang on it. Thanks

That would be a very close one with a slight edge going to the cobra if it can get traction.

I would say it's a drivers race. If the Cobra launches great then it will win but if launches crappy then the G37 will win. Just my .02

+1, it would be a drivers race. Who could launch the best or if it's from a roll, I think the Cobra would edge it alittle.

Yea all of your answers is what I expected to hear...LOL SVT COBRA BABY!! Yea the only reason why I ask on the 2001 Cobra is because everyone knows an 03-04 cobra would walk any infiniti anywhere from dig or a roll! And also me and Fobra and some other mustang owners already ripped into Car And Driver's article on the 03 G35 Coupe vs 03 Cobra. But we all figured it out!

Walk? There's no walking in such a race..... The G35 will see tail-lights off the line.

Hmm... I dont think you understood what I said, and I am surprised that you have never heard that term used before. When I said that the 2003 cobra would walk it that means that the other car, in this situation the G37 would get its ass handed to itself sooo bad that there is no comparison to be made between the two cars. It means that the 2003 cobra would smoke it so bad that yes you are right the G37 would see tailights right from the start.
