I had a King Cobra in my 87 LX 5.0. I liked it. I run a Ram HD in my Cobra now. The McCleod stage 3 went out(luckilly in my driveway) and the Mustang shop suggested Ram. It has a stock clutch feel, but holds up to like 600hp. You'll get alot of different opinions. I was told by the same shop that they won't use Spec because everytime they install one, they get different clutch feel. Even if it's the same model clutch, just on a different car. They put my same Ram clutch on a 550rwhp 331 turbo 95 GT and the owner said it held all day long. I went with the Ram aluminum flywheel too since we were already in there. You should replace the rear main seal on the engine, and the pilot bearing since your in there. It's only an extra $15-20.

I don't know. I went to SVP unlimited in Alabama. He called his contact at Ram and they put the clutch together for him. I wasn't even aware Ram made a King Cobra clutch.

I have a ram power grip clutch!!!
I love this thing.
I went through two centerforce clutches and I'll never go back.

While your down there replace your pilot bearing also. It's always a good thing to do both bearings while your down there. I'd just stay with the stock flywheel. No need to go to a aluminum flywheel if your not running a forced induc.
And if you do city driving with it your going to hate a aluminum flywheel because of the fast rpm drop while your stoping and going. Or just shifting

If it's your weekend car I'd drop the a/c!!!
If your want less weight off the front end that's the way to go and not have to worry about the alum. flywheel!!!

That's if you can take the heat down there in texas!!!
