I have a 1996 SVT with about 45,000 mile and my head lights are starting to look a bit cloudy, should I up grade them or replace them with stock ones? I guess the real question is, should I leave the car stock or should I start modifying the exterior and the drive train? I would love to have some more horse power from maybe a super charger but I don’t want to tear down the engine, any suggestions? Thank you.
A good rule of thumb, when the stock parts wear out UPGRADE them!

Definitely... Unleash that Cobra!
For upgrades Id say... FRPP 3.73 Gears, cold air, full exhaust, SCT tuner subframes, U&L control arms, lowering springs, and if thats not enough but you want to keep it simple and inexpensive I would consider nitrous. Maybe a 75shot

on the headlights go to you loal auto parts store and get some blue magic headlight cleaner works great then with the money you saved from not buying new head lights get you a pro 5.0 shifter and then some gears and go from there.
Modify!!! But do what is tastefull to you. Go with some 3.73's, Steeda UD Pullies, CAI, a reasonable shot of nitrous, a dyno tune, and some bigger tires out back and you'd be AMAZED what you can do on somewhat of a budget.

You can buy a kit to bring your headlights by to life. Mod your car as you like but do some research and right down what you want to do, and do what your budget will allow. When you are finished let us know what you did and how much different your machine became. LOL

for your headlights they make a plastic refresher that makes them look brand new. Might want to look into that to save a few bucks. I'm all for upgrading anything you want though!

I had a pro 5.0 shifter.
I wanted a upgrade and a lot of people said get that one.
All I can say is that thing is junk!!!!!
I got a B&M short shifter and wow.... It's day and night with the two of them.
**B&M being that better one by far!
