Ok, I currently have an 02 GT and am planning on supercharging it when I get home from my current deployment but I couldn't help but notice the overall decline in the price of the terminator Cobras across the board. I've always wanted one of these cars but i went with the GT cause at the time I made the purchase a GT was what I could afford. So been doin some lookin and I was just wondering that if aside from the basic stuff you look for when car shopping is there any added little quirks I should look for with a Cobra??? And if anyone knows of one for sale that they think is a good deal i would greatly appreciate any info on it.

Purchase yourself a Cobra if you really want one. You can find one if you look around. Keep in mind the price will depend on mileage and how the machine has been taken care of. You possibly find one for 15,000 on up to 33,000. If you supercharge your GT you may end up spending 6,000 before you are finished. Supercharger, injectors, fuelpump, intercoller, plugs and pullies and hoses. I do not know where a Cobra is at this time but I do know where a 03 Mach I is with 5,000 miles on it for about 18 to 19,000. Good luck with your decision.

If you want a Terminator, then i would def get one. It sucks that someone might be hurting and has to let it go but it's good for you. I've seen some with decent miles go for 18K. Look on ebay, autotrader.com and svtperformance.com at their ads. i see cobra's for sale all the time. some that are awesome for a great price.

Go for the termi. But be very careful, have it checked out with a fine tooth comb. Cylinder pressure and everything. Make sure it hasn't been run into the ground. Things to watch for. . . Is the clutch stock? Has it been modified? Is there any unusual noise from the drivetrain? Does the exhaust smell strange or have any weird color to it? And most important if it's an 03. Check the closest to the the driver on the drivers side of the heads, do you hear a clicking noise?(aside from the normal belt sounds) If you do, do not buy the car. And of coarse, see if it's been re-painted anywhere, alignment, ect.

Thanks for all of the info it helps alot. I have been searchin auto trader alot just gettin an idea of price on these cars and I've saw one 03 with 30k miles on it for 20k. Just gettin info and ideas now seeing as I won't be back in the states for another four months, and making sure i make and educated purchase when I get home. That and supercharging my GT would cost me about 5k just for the kit and I don't wanna run the risk of blowing my bottom end out and picking it up with a shovel and a bucket.
