Dealerships will mark it up like crazy. Plus, I personally see more "GT500's" than Terminator Cobra's. I don't think I'd give up mine. . . ever. . .
+1)
I'll go with a terminator over a gt500 anyday of the week.!!!
They way LESS and with some money you'll have the same hp as the 500 , with less cost!!!!!!
+1) With the lose that they are having right now in the dealerships!
Your going to be raped with the incress the dealer is going to put on it!

My father was ready to buy a GT500 in cash. I went with him to the dealership. They had it marked up I believe 25000 or 30000 over sticker. He turned around and walked out. It wasn't a question of money, but he felt a slap in the face that they tried to mark up like that. He's planning on a Camaro now, and won't even look at any ford product.
I like the S197 GT500, but not the 2010 GT500 because I think the front looks too much like an Evo

Challengers were marked up? The ones I saw was about 2K under MSRP.
i'll never get rid of my 03 Cobra, it's a lifer. Only has 40K miles but I'm already in the process of buying a more stout shortblock when i get back for later on. The GT500, not the 2010 cause in 9 years an 08 will be a good price i hope, will be nice to have beside the 03.

I'm sure the price will be out of reach sure enough. My 04 termi is paid for and the mods are as well. I would like to have a 500 to add to the stable.
i got a pretty good deal on my 09 gt 500 with the industry in shambles at the moment. they still had a 7500.00 market adjustment on the price, but ended up waiving that and dropped all dealer fees. i was holding out for a 2010, but the dealer said they would start the mark up at 25,000 until they have plenty of inventory which is not expected until 2012.
