Default Low Oil Pressure

The oil pressure is fine on my 94 Cobra 302cu in until the RPM drops to 900 then the oil pressure goes to zero. Raise the RPM to 900 and oil pressure is fine. Connected a mechanical gage to engine, same thing.
I installed new oil pump, rod and main bearings, new oil & filter, still the same problem.
Anybody know a fix for this problem?

Thanks,

Avcat

Too bad you could not plumb into the levels of pressure. Starting with the rod bearings, then the cam area, to the top end valve cover being off to watch.
How could oil lose pressure if she is lost, then all of a sudden is pressured again. Is there anyway you can watch the blow off pressure working backwards once the oil pressure is lost? No way can that pressure stop with the blades still pushing oil thru the pump.

Only think I can think of is cavitation or bubbles in the oil galley adding air or the pump causing air to cavitate, then you see the drop come and go.
You should have at least 10 pounds for every 1,000 rpm. So, at red line is for argument sake the line stops at 6,000 rpm, you should be seeing 60psi basically.
