Default What do you think about this setup?

Well I have decided to start putting some mods on to my cobra. I want your guys ideas because I am just starting at this. I have wanted a supercharger for so long but can't afford it. So I want to buy a nitrous express wet shot system, the whole setup for ford racing 4.10 gears, and to set it all up an SCT X3 with CAI. I found all of these items brand new for 1,236. Now I'm wondering if I put nitrous on the car is there anything else I need to upgrade. I have been doing research on the motor and everyone says that I can push 450 to the wheels and be safe. I would appreciate any response you have to my post. Thank you

The set up sounds pretty good and will give you a nice get up and go. I would get the vent tube, purge kit, bottle warmer, remote bottle opener and nitrous gauge to monitor it. Go a step colder on the spark plugs and I would get it tuned for with the handheld tuner. What shot will you run?

well I will start off with 75. I only want the nitrous for runs at the track. It won't be used that much.

"The spark plug also removes heat from the combustion chamber. It does this by absorbing heat from the combustion chamber into the body of the spark plug, and passing this heat through its (threaded) sides to the engine block" He means to use a spark plug that soaks up more heat. Which all around helps with the longevity of your engine. Important for when you flip that switch also.
