Hows it going guys? I have a 1995 Cobra and i'm trying to figure out what blower camshaft i should go with. The guy i bought the car from in june 2008 had it set up with a zex wet kit. He also has a lunati nitrous camshaft in it , which he said he doesnt have the card or remember which camshaft it was. This is my setup, the bottom end has been freshened up with speed pro forged internals , including .30 over flat top 4 valve relief pistons. I just took off the AFR 185 (1420) heads with 61cc chambers and ordered the AFR 185 competition heads with 71cc chambers. 1.72 SVO roller rockers (stud mount) i have 1.6's too, Professionally ported GT40 lower intake to 1262 fel-pro gaskets, Kenne Bell 2.2L (2200) blower with flowzilla manifold with 11lb pulley, crank pulley is 5.85", trickflow 75mm inlet adapter, 75mm BBK throttle body, AFM N/A power pipe (4"), 90mm lightning mass air meter with newer harness plug calibrated for the injectors, MSD 6btm ignition box, 160 hypertech thermostat, 3923 autolite plugs, 42lb injectors, 255 intank walbro fuel pump, rebuilt t5 transmission (soon tko600), 3.73 gears, nitto 275/17's street drags, 1 5/8 shorty headers with off road h-pipe and of course flowmaster 2 chambers, Mr gaskets blower head gaskets, on the way is a main cap girdle with a windage tray and 7qt pan from DSS, That pretty much sums it up. I know of most of the blower cams out there like ,Steeda #19, AFM b-31, SVO e303, SVO f303, Comp Cam 35-306-8, Trick flow stage 1, but what i'm worried about is obviously piston to valve clearance. which is ok because i can check it with clay, but i dont have all these cams available to me. alot of these are no problem i know up until at least .512 lift. Im not sure whats max lift on stock pistons with 2.02 and 1.60 valves. Any suggetions or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
sorry for the long description.
