Cool 1998 cobra build

hey guys. im new to the forum and 4v engine...lol . but not mustangs. i just bought a 1998 cobra convertible. it already has the basic bolt ons. exhaust, gear, cold air. but i really want to build it into the ultimate street machine. Def want to go supercharger . still not sure on supercharger brand yet. i like the power that people claim out of the kb systems. but i really like the look of the centrifigul better. but i dont just want to bolt one on to a stock engine. what are good forged pistons/rods as well as other parts i can replace internally to support a good bit of boost. i know eveyone gets on here and asks what they need to do to get to 500,600,700, hp etc. but im not really stuck on hp numbers. i just want a good base, to build on. and as much (reliable/usable) power as possible for the street.

Welcome to the site!
You can bolt a s/c on right now and push around 7-8 psi to be safe.
As far as I know all cobras come with forged internals. They my not be the top of the line but there still good for a s/c.

Welcome & congrats on the Cobra! Yeh there is alot you can do! It just depends on you, and what your take is... I like the Vortech & Procharger systems! Def do internals if you plan on more than 8psi.
Go turbo! lol
