Default What is the easiest way to remove 2003 cobra engine.

Is it easier to drop the k-member or go through the hood? Can the engine and transmission be removed together through the hood?

I wish I did. Ive pulled a 4.6 from a 99GT before and I seperated it from the transmission and pulled it from the top. I just wanted to know if the engine, with the t56 and the front accessorys, will come out through the top.

Its easier to drop the k-member and lift the car with the hoist after setting engine and tranny on moving dollies imo...
