I had my car about 6 month and an IS300 tried to hang in an off ramp onto another highway. Coming into the fairly sharp curve at about 90mph thinking "I'm gonna die", and my car handled so well once in the corner I found I could go much faster. Needless to say, once on the new highway, I was going about 110mph, and the IS300 was about 6-8 car lengths behind me. I love beating imports at thier own game!

I have not had mine for long but I have a couple favorite moments. When I test drove it and got into it while in 2nd and it hit about 5g's and started to break lose. And the second was when a local teenage actulley lined up against me. (And was just sure they were going to eat the poor baby cobra) In a stock 1989 toyota celica. I gave them 7 car lengths and a good second. Still did not matter. The toyotas motor actulley blew about 5 or 6 minutes after the race and I had to stand around at the local gas station with them and BS why they were waiting on triple a.

One of my classic and favorite times in my Cobra happened shortly after I got it. I was standing in line at the grocery store overhearing an employee and a customer discussing the "horrid orange color" and the "likelihood that it was just a regular Mustang with Cobra emblems on it".

I went outside and decided I would show the guy who was also going to his car....this indeed was a Cobra!! I tried to make an impressive exit while driving by him and stalled!!

(So much for trying to look cool!)

The funniest moments in my Cobra was when I would pull into a shopping center parking lots, mothers would grab their children and pull them close. Also I would love to set peoples car alarms off.

Undoubtedly some of the arse beatings I have administered.The funniest ones are the ones that realize that it's the real deal and not an emblem package.
