Mileage seems high (for a Cobra) but other than that, I would buy it. Heck, I would buy it anyway

It's not a high amount of miles. Cars can go well into the 1xx,000 range. I just meant that it seemed like an unusual amount of miles for a Cobra. Most Cobras are not driven very much. There wouldn't be anything wrong with 87k miles. After all, it is 8 years old. So it's been the usual 10k per year. And the 4.6 engine can go a LONG time. Nothing to worry about.

I paid 5700 for my 96 with 104,000 miles. The body is just ok, No rust does have some spots were paint is chipped. The leather is cracking and the carpet needs replaced. And I fell like I got a ok deal.

It's on the cheap end but not unheard of in this economy. I'd do a carfax just incase.

no they didn't make an 00 cobra they only made the cobra R and they didn't make an 02 cobra. and i would say that thats a great buy usually even with those miles it should still be going for at least 10 g's, so if you are looking to buy a car i would say that thats an amazing deal.

OF COURSE THAT's a Great Price for and 01 and those miles are fine. Carfaxs aren't fullproof, check the inside of all the fenders to see if any bondo has been applied, body shops tend to not sand that part as smooth and it would be best if it was stock with Cats and the factory air box with a paper filter, then you know the person wasn't a racer!

for an 01??! YES! I was looking at a 01 for 12k. Sure for 12k it had less miles, but at 7800, well if you dont buy it, send me the link and I WILL!

Is 17000 too much for an '01 Cobra vert with 17,000 miles?
