I need to replace clutch in my stock cobra. What kinda clutch is best for the money. Also is the stock flywheel lightened.

I really like Mcleod clutches, I have been running them for a few years now. I have the stage 2 Mcleod kit (available thorugh Maximum Motorsports) on my 90 LX, it has stock pedel feel, but grabs when you mean business. I've launched this car off my MSD limiter (6500) many many times while powershifting up through the gears, broke a tranny, bent a rear end, and trashed motor mounts but never did the clutch show any sign of wear.

I think they do have lightened flywheels, my dad's 94 Cobra revs up very quickly, compared to most stock 5.0's.

Thanks for the info. Everyone tells me to go with a KingCobra Clutch, but I read alot of bad reviews on them.

King Cobras suck, they are very stiff, and don't hold up to much abuse. I smoked 3 of those damn things before I started using Mcleod's.
