Default Difference between 97 & 99 Cobra

I just bought a 97 and was wondering what are the differences between it and my 99. I know the 99 has IRS I just really want to know about the motor and trans. Thanks!

I know the intakes were different. The interior on the 99-up was a two tone leather and suede. I used to have some broshures of the 98 and 99 svt's. I'll see if i can find them.

As you already know the bodies changed to the edge look on the 99. The 99's had that power output issue but once corrected they put out 320hp versus your 97's 305.

Not true. I have a 99 and my interior is still the 94-99 leather. It wasn't until the 01 Cobra that the interior recieved the upgrades.

well the reason I am asking is because some stoned and drunk girl smacked into my beautiful 99 cobra and totalled it. Well I bought it back and I am going to be putting the motor and trans in a 97 that I just bought. I was just wondering what troubles I am going to run into. Its going to be on a weekend with my uncle and I and I don't want to have to stop because we need to order something. Thanks guys!
