Just wanted you all to know that I ordered my New 2010 Shelby Convertible tonight. The price started at 51,000 for the convertibles and I believed the coupes were starting at 48,000. I will know monday appox. how long it will take to be made. I had alot of fun with my GT but I should have twice as much with 540Hp. Keeping my HRE wheels to put on it. Man, no matter how many times it happens it gets my heart rate going. It really bugs me when they U-turn and tail me. . . I'm sure they are just checking to make sure the plates match for stolen cars, I have nothing against them. . . Still, it's annoying lol

Going to go with the sterling grey metallic with silver stripes and the electronics package which includes the voice activated nav system. Dual zone automatic climate control. Thats about the only upgrades that they are offing with the 2010. Everything else is standard equip.

that will be one sweet ride. I really think that this year, with the upped power, the gt500 is actually a good bang for the buck. i mean, if the handling really has improved it should beat vettes now. Last years model couldnt keep up with a stock c6 though

Congrats on the Shelby. My 04 is just a couple of months from being paid off. I actually considered selling it and saving for a year and ordering a GT 500 myself, but I could not bring myself to sell it. I love the color you chose. I wish alloy metallic was a choice on the 2010.

congrats man! I will have one some day when the price comes down a little. I have 2 more cars that I would like to have one of the newer gt500 and a shelby cobra roadster and that would make-up my hotwheels collection again have fun with it and post some photos when you get it
