My friend has a 1997 black cobra and she's putting new 6 piston brakes on it...she gave me her front brakes except the pads and rotors that were on the cobra. I was wondering what color your calipers were when you got the car...the brakes I got are red and the only red brakes I can find are the 10th anniv. ones...just curious to see what color everybody elses is and of course they say cobra on them
Mine are red. But I made them that way. They were not painted. The 99-01's were unpainted, the 03's are red and I think the 04's are black.

Ya the 03's are the anniversary ones so they're red and i the other ones were gray so ya I dont know honestly lol I need to get them cleaned up and probably repainted
Dude somebody painted them. If they were real 03 brakes the caliper bracket would be black. from your pic it looks red. Check my pic I added, I just finised touching mine up.

Well yeah, mechanically they are all the same. Different years were different colors. Looks like someone painted them red like I did with my 99 calipers.

G2 sells caliper paint that is brush on. Once dry it looks OEM. It's what I used.
