You have more low end torque. DOHC 4.6's aren't known for monster torque. My last dyno session I laid 301rwhp with 300lbs of torque. Now your car if it's laying 240rwhp, you're probably more in the 270-300lbs of torque. So you would keep up with a 99-01 initially. But the DOHC 4.6 redline much higher than 5.0's and the power band is much broader. My 99 Cobra will pull all the way to redline. You'll hang for the first couple gears but he's eventually going to walk away.
