I agree with you... To an extent. If a car is 100% cloned... Then I consider it what is says it is.
I have to disagree on this one. It's still not a Cobra. Vin is incorrect. Could be masterful engineering and OCD attention to detail, but it's still fake. I know a guy who took a wrecked 93 Cobra, and put all the goodies on a good chassis. I still consider it a clone. Now I'm Irish, but if I wasn't and celebrated St. Patricks Day and cheered for Notre Dame and drank alot and wore green. It wouldn't make me Irish. LOL, thats how i feel about it.... so thats worth what about 2 cents.

Thanks for all of your inputs I feel you can do anything to your car as you please But I just don't like clones or posers. You can change everything on the car to a GT or a Cobra but it will never be a real one period. That snake means a lot more than just a cool emblem. Like some have said you can do it but be ready for the hammering. I just would not do it to my car but thats me

the 4X4 emblem was on the wrong side, and the RT was chrome not red!

I have six dead bolt locks on my front door. when i leave the house i lock every other one, that way no matter how much someone picks them, they are always locking three.
with this i would have to agree on puttying the cobra badges on a v6 or even a gt. but one thing i would have to disagree on is if somebody takes to time to fully redo a car to make it a clone then puts the badges on it. but of course its got to be a 100% clone and still they have to add the clone part to it because it doesnt have the factory paper work.
Well in 1966 Ford had factory GTs and dealer installed GT packages...is the dealer installed one any less of a GT? Even the purists would say it isn't if the enigne code is correct..c'mon guys, Mustang has always been a great car because you can personalize it in so many ways...watch Barrett Jackson, there are tons of high dollar clones that cross their stage every year and as long as the seller is upfront about what it is and isn't then everyone is happy..."different strokes for different folks I always say"...
