Just based on your description I would say it's worth it.

the only thing that would be holding me back is the milage. just cuz i dont know how long it will be before a rebuild is necessary. it runs like new though.

All 1,999 mystic '96 Cobras were painted in February of 1996. That car is now 13 years old and with 109,000 miles on the odometer it hasn't been parked inside a garage out of sunlight all that time. Although all Cobras are nice, the really special thing is the mystic color-shifting paint. Does it show any siigns of fading or cracking or dulling of the finish? Because it is extremely expensive (and requires a special procedure for the body shop to request authorization for the patented paint crystals) if a mystic needs to be repainted.

If it's in great shape and runs great, i would say go for it. Just check the obvious, oil leaks underneath, compression check on all cylinders and run a report on it. If all is good, it's something i would buy. those mystic's are nice

I have well over 150,000 miles on my 1996 cobra, the engine and trans work better than new (it even got a kenne bell 2.1 supercharger this summer with no problems), they are quite durable unless someone has abused it, I'dconsider that a low milage cobra at about 8000 a year and the price about average
