what would be a nice cheap mod that i can see like 15-30 hp? it already has gears, intake, exhaust, and a chip. i also dont want nos so those can be subtracted. any input is appreciated.

Well, nice and cheap rarely go together, equal length headers really wake up the cobras, there not "cheap" but speed costs, how fast do you want to go...
You could always take out the backseat and passenger seat for the track...lighter=faster

yea but personally i dont think headers are worth the money because it doesnt give to much hp and they cost you like 800 dollars. one thing i do like is that they do make a car sound pretty mean but if i wanted my car to sound mean id rather put cams in then headers. thanks for the reply tho. i think im just gunna keep it as is and in time either throw a supercharger in or cams.

how did that 2.1 work out for your 96 cobra? thats exactly what i was thinking about putting in soon just to see what all this talk is about kenne bells.

That 2.1 Kenne Bell is simply awesome, I'd highly recommend it...it gives the car so much more low end power, it's wickedly silent...I'm upgrading the fuel system this week and should have some dyno numbers for ya !
A 90 mm Accufab throttle body is a nice upgrade for about $300, cams would be very expensive for not much gain, get the headers and blower: fall in love with your car again

I have to argue that the headers and high flow cats are well worth the investment, I have BBks...I see you live in Tampa, I'd be glad to meet you sometime so you can see my car and go for a test drive...
