I have a question for anyone who might have an answer. I have a 97 cobra convertible, I have been looking for a new top cause my old top is ripped, well a buddy of mine has told me that they have hard top conversions for convertibles however he cannot give me site or catolog with any kits or parts for such a conversion. Does anyone know if this is true and if so where can I get one. I have been told that hard tops are lighter than convertibles, also I personally just dont like 97 in a convertible.

Question, why'd you buy a convertible if you don't like it? I know a few years ago you could find that kit here and there but I've not seen it in a long time. The company that made it eludes me. If I remember, I'll pm you.

Wow Thats not a bad idea, removeable hard top...i wonder if you can still use your convertible top with this product

Thanks for the info, I bought the car because even though I did not like convertibles it was a heck of a deal for the car and I really do not regret buying it.
