I have a 1994 mustang cobra that my brother just gave me before he went to Iraq and the car is running real lean and surging the rpms won't stay steady and it seems like it hits a gas pocket when you give it gas

I have replaced the O2 sensors and mass air flow sensor and I replaced the fuel filter and checked the fuel injectors and they are fine

I don't know what to do and this is my first car somebody please help me! g

If its primarily in lower RPM's check for vacuum leaks.

I took it to a shop and they couldn't find any leaks and they checked the fuel system and couldn't find anything wrong

Is it misfiring at all? Is it putting out any codes?

ya it seems like it is misfiring and the rpms are serging up and down and everyonce in awhile it backfires

And it doesn't throw any codes cause it doesn't have a catilitic converter and a off road h-pipe and I have cutouts

It is in desparate need of a tune, the fuel maps: a/f ratios/maps are out of whack...find a good tuner in your area and let them fix you up
