Default Electrical Problems

SO I was driving to work today and I hit a bump and all of the sudden my radio stopped working, I then noticed taht my speedometer was not working either and then I found out my locks are not working. I was just wondering if all of these things are managed by a fuse and if so does anybody know which one it is? Oh ya, its a 97 cobra if that helps anybody.

sounds like a fuse. go to autozone, buy a kit with the same size fuses as your car and one that has the little yellow fuse checker in it. then just go up under the dash and check them all.. if the light doesn't light on the checker when you touch the prongs the fuse is blown.. this could help out with other things to maybe.

edit: oh if the fuse blows again once you put a new one in you probably have a lead being grounded out somwhere.... then you'd have to tare it apart

well I replaced the fuse and it blew again, SSSOOO! That means I have to try and find the exposed wire that is grounding out. THAT SOUNDS LIKE SO MUCH FUN. Anyways thanks for the help and wish me luck in trying to find this problem.

yeah. usually this crap happens after the wire has been bouncing around for long enough. just follow the wires and make sure everything is taped up and no adapters are corroded. im sure youll find it man.. goodluck
